Re: RevPi returns blank lsblk via USB mount
I got the second RevPi Connect+ returned from a field deployment that has the same point of failure - storage not recognized as Mass Storage Device. I am wondering if CM3+ (32GB) fails as easy as this often.

Re: RevPi returns blank lsblk via USB mount
Replaced Compute Module 3+ with the equivalent and it was recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. Seems our case was broken storage on built-in CM3+ possibly after a few months of field use.

Re: RevPi returns blank lsblk via USB mount
This is from rpiboot that yields no accessible drive letters from Windows. rpiboot.jpg Another screenshot after running rpiboot from device manager. RPI_usb.jpg Without USB mass storage accessible from OS I firstly want to hear some specialist's insight if this hardware is good enough for eMMC flash...

Re: RevPi returns blank lsblk via USB mount
This is the self update to narrow down the root cause analysis. I was able to locate the problem on built-in Raspberry Pi compute module 3+ 32GB by swapping it with the same module from another unit that worked fine. So it's somewhere in the OS bootstrap that won't complete. Under the given conditio...

How to turn off A3 red LED
Hi, we are observing solid A3 light on RevPi Connect 2019-03-14-revpi-stretch however there is nothing remarkable from running software. RevPi document says A3 is open for user and not reserved for error notification services. Questions: - Is there any context attached to A3 red definition out-of-th...

RevPi returns blank lsblk via USB mount
Hi, we got a failed RevPi connect 2019-03-14-revpi-stretch that returns no memory block with lsblk when connected to linux host. When this happens, what would be the next step to diagnose the problem? - flash image if possible (probably not as no phys memory is visible from OS) - factory reset with ...

Re: MAC address assignment for wifi USB dongle
As a self follow up on the topic disabling NetworkManager did the job so wlan0 gets the fixed wifi MAC address.

MAC address assignment for wifi USB dongle
Hi I am comparing RevPi connect 2020-06-25 with the same model with 2019-03-14 and noticed the wifi USB dongle attached always get a new MAC address assignment on the newer firmware. This is going to be a problem for our remote management software that expects fixed MAC address assignment for the sa...

How to restore initial image
Hi I installed a software that might have consumed all internal eMMC storage (not 100% sure), and now I am basically locked out. Network not recognized with built-in port and USB-Ethernet converter. How do I restore the original eMMC image of the hardware. I am okay to lose all data, and would like ...

40-pin GPIO compatibility
Hi Kumbus team, We are evaluating compatibility of RevPi with a 40-pin GPIO IoT Hat that provides cellular network connectivity. This interface was originally designed for Raspberry Pi, but we believe it can be used for RevPi as well with DIO. What we are unsure is GPIO compatibility between RevPi a...
