What is the approximate jitter if I do motion control via a Codesys EtherCAT master? Can you provide a range?

The Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi mentions that Jitter depends on many factors, especially on parallel executed Linux applications, and is ideally about 50μs with maximum values of 400μs.
As a general rule for hard motion control ,the Raspberry Pi based system may not yield desirable results.
